Nintendo 3DS Photo Tool Online Help

Purpose

This applications allows easy deployment of 3D pictrures (MPO files) from your computer to your Nintendo 3DS using it's SD card and an SD card reader.

The 3DS requires a rigid folder and file structure for the 3D images to be picked up by the onboard software. This program does all the hard stuff for you.

Instructions for Use

• Download some Nintendo 3DS 3D photos (MPO files) to your PC - try http://3DPorch.com - We have also included a bunch of them with this program in the EXAMPLES folder.
• Remove the SD card from your Nintendo 3DS.
• Insert it into your PC via an SD card slot or card reader.
• Run the application - It will automatically detect your 3DS card. If not, select your SD card location manually
• Drag and drop MPO files from your hard drive to the files window - or click Add Files and add them that way.
• Once you have all the files you want to deploy, click COPY.
• The tool will automatically handle the deployment of the files, including creating folders and renaming the files.
• Return the card to your 3DS, boot it up, go to your NDS Photo Gallery and the system will tell you it is updating the management file. This is completely normal - and will take a few - depending on how many pictures you added.

Explanation of Options

• The only option is that of deleting the pictures after they have been copied to the 3DS SD card. Check this option and the files will be deleted after the deployment.
